We are Europe’s largest electric charging partner. We are on a mission to enable everybody to drive as many kilometres as possible powered by clean energy. We do that by offering large scale smart charging solutions to the masses. We contribute to a low-carbon world by making EV charging easy, accessible and smart, with the best expertise, highest quality & service. We have been acquired by Shell in 2017 and work closely together with the other daughter companies in the new energy sector.

Your core accountabilities are to…

• Design, build, and support smart charging solutions for business charging, home charging, and charging on the go;

• Contribute to a more sustainable form of mobility. Develop innovative and intuitive charging products and services. Smart technology is at the core of all of our products;

• Develop state-of-the-art applications together with an international team of more than 100 engineers;

• Create new serverless applications to help bridge different Charging Networks;

• Contribute to broader system design discussions and decision-making with the team;

• Be a technical leader and a mentor to more junior engineers;

• Log and manage technical debt and work with the team to estimate tasks to remediate;

• Join our developer guilds and share knowledge, learn, and have fun.

Success will be when you…

• Serverless applications are released to the end customers;

• Integrations with projects inside and outside of Shell Recharge Solutions are working;

• The user’s needs requested from the product team are clearly transformed into technical tasks.

• Working with Python in multiple larger projects, creating maintainable and secure code;

• Developing mission-critical, real-time, cloud-native solutions preferably using serverless computing;

• Testing at all levels, Unit, Integration, E2E;

• Mentoring other engineers.

• End-to-end lifecycle management of serverless applications;

• The mainstream technologies for highly scalable, reliable and functional back-end systems.

• Data Streaming applications are a plus;

• Data engineering is a plus;

• AWS Managed Cloud is a plus;

• CI/CD and GitLab are a plus;

• Energy and E-mobility are a plus.
