What are you going to do?
We are looking for new enthusiastic and flexible colleagues who are interested in sustainability and energy saving and enjoy informing residents of social housing about the benefits they can get from solar panels. This will happen in different ways. Sometimes you will hold a webinar in the evening or an information session in the afternoon or evening. At other times, call residents or visit residents door-to-door. We also ask you to perform some light administrative tasks.
Of course, not before you explain exactly what benefits this has for the residents, why it is important to switch to sustainable energy and exactly how our solar panel range works. You know how to clearly explain the content of the offer that the residents have received. So that they can then clearly understand our offer and make a well-considered choice to accept our offer – just like all the other tens of thousands of tenants.
Wocozon is a non-profit organization that wants everyone to enjoy the sun to the fullest, including the residents of rental properties. How is this possible? As a Solar Power Advisor, you know how to explain this to them in detail. Provided that everyone has a free choice!
Are you?
- An enthusiastic and flexible colleague and available 16-24 hours a week
- Interest in sustainability and/or a sustainable job
- In possession of good communication skills, both in person and online
- Not afraid to start a conversation with residents
- Resistant to possible rebuttal from residents
- Able to work independently and plan your appointments properly
- Willing to work in the office 50% of the time, but also in the evenings
- In possession of a driver’s license
- Living in the Utrecht area
- Someone with work experience in a customer-oriented or communications position (advantage)
Who is Wocozon?
Wocozon is a foundation in Utrecht that, in collaboration with housing associations throughout the Netherlands, wants as many tenants as possible to enjoy the sun. And as part of this, it wants to provide social housing with solar panels. The starting point is always that the resident saves and the housing association becomes more sustainable. Of course, the environment also benefits from this.
Even though residents can save, not all are immediately convinced of the offer. Many residents need additional information to see that the offer genuinely offers them the necessary benefits. For this we really need your sustainable knowledge and communication skills. In this way, together we can make the Netherlands more sustainable as quickly as possible.
Wocozon is convinced that cheap energy is intended for all Dutch people, including social tenants. In addition, social housing cannot be left behind if we want to complete the energy transition. Wocozon makes cheap electricity a reality specifically for these residents.
